A jury at Preston Crown Court reached its unanimous verdict following the trial into the death of mother-of-two Lindsay (47) who worked at Burnley's Ightenhill Primary School.

The 17 year-old, who was 16 at the time, had earlier admitted moving the body from the Coppice in Accrington, where Lindsay is believed to have been killed, to Accrington Cemetery, where she was found in a shallow grave by a dog walker.

He denied a charge of murder and a lesser charge of manslaughter.

Her Honour Justice Yipp will pass sentence on Friday.
