Police have said that they do not expect to make any arrests after a man was allegedly stabbed in Burnley yesterday morning.
The 29-year-old victim was found in Padiham Road outside the Tim Bobbin Hotel with four puncture wounds to his arm, leg, rib area, and backside, at 8-15am.
Emergency services were called and he was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital but the victim discharged himself just a few hours later.
A spokesman for the police said: “There have not been any arrests and it is unlikely that there will be unless new evidence comes to light.”
