Primary school worker faces child sex allegations

A Burnley primary school worker has been charged with having sexual activity with a child.

Glyn Thompson (31) of Padiham Road, Burnley, was arrested on July 4th and charged with four counts of engaging in sexual activity with a child and one of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity under the Sexual Offences Act 2003.

The alleged offences occurred between the start of 2012 and the end of April this year when Thompson was working at Stoneyholme Primary School.

He was remanded in custody by Blackburn magistrates on Saturday to appear at Burnley Crown Court on July 24th.
