Police warning after spate of burglaries in Pendle

Residents in the Nelson, Brierfield and Reedley areas are being urged to be on their guard after a number of burglaries and attempted break-ins.

The warning has been issued by police after thieves targeted homes in Garsdale Avenue, Reedley, between 4-30pm and 6pm on Thursday (police log number LC-20201112-1025); Halifax Road in Nelson, between 4-30pm and 6pm on Thursday (log number LC-20201112-1151) and Clarkson Close, Brierfield, on Friday during the day (log number LC-20201113-1317).

A police spokesman for Nelson, Brierfield and Barrowford Police posted an appeal on Facebook asking residents to remain vigilant. PCSO Shak said: "There have been a number of burglaries and attempted burglaries in the Nelson, Brierfield and Reedley areas. If you saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area or you have any information which could help us please give us a call on 101 quoting the log references above.
