Police swoop and execute warrant after complaints of drug dealing in Burnley neighbourhood

Police have executed a warrant on a Burnley road after receiving a number of complaints of drug dealing in the area.

The warrant was executed by the north neighbourhood policing team in Leyland Road.

A spokesman for Burnley and Padiham police said: "This goes to show the flexibility of the neighbourhood policing team, engaging with the community in the park one day, executing drugs warrants the next.

"Helping to keep our communities safe."
