Police release CCTV images of men in relation to Burnley train station assault

British Transport Police have released CCTV images and are appealing for information after an assault at Burnley Manchester Road station where the victim was repeatedly "punched and kicked".

The incident happened at 11-10pm on Sunday, September 27th.

Police said on board a train, the victim was spat after asking three men to leave the service due to their behaviour.

Officers said the victim further challenged the men on platform 1 at the station. He was then repeatedly punched and kicked.

Officers would like to speak to the men in the images who may have information that could help their investigation.

A spokesman for BTP said: "Anyone who knows them should contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40. In both cases, quote reference number 485 of 27/09/20.

"Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
