Sgt Kevin Day, of Clitheroe Police, has promised to continue listening to concerns from members of the public and will be working from officers in the Pendle area to tackle the issue of drugs.

On a police Facebook post, he said: "This week the supervisors, staff and partners across Pendle and the Ribble Valley met to discuss our next month's priorities. We do this every month and the meeting sets the areas of business that we will focus on as a team. Many residents across the Valley pass us information about activities in their areas. Drug use and dealing is a recurring issue and we do take this seriously. I can assure you that we do listen and we do have plans in place to either develop the intelligence or take action where we can. I hope to be able to share some good news stories soon."
