Police officers seize over 200 cannabis plants after reports of suspicious activity at Burnley house

Reports of suspicious activity on a Burnley street led police officers to the discovery of a cannabis farm at a house.

Officers from the Burnley Neighbourhood Policing Team were called to the property in Alder Street, off Padiham Road, where they seized a 'substantial cannabis cultivation' including over 200 plants and associated paraphernalia.

Inquiries are ongoing to locate the offenders.

A police spokesman said: "We need the public to continue to work with us to help tackle drug crime."
