Thieves have been targeting the vehicles in the Clitheroe and Longridge areas.
Sergeant Kev Day said that inquiries are on going to catch the culprits but he appealed for owners of Ford Transits to take steps to deter thieves.
He said: "Fitting additional locks, making sure the van is out of site or blocking it with other vehicles or heavy items could help.
"You could also add a secure post to your driveway, fit a tracker or anything else that you can think of to slow down a thief or stop them altogether."
Sgt Day warned that if you are behind the wheel of a Ford Transit you may be stopped by police who will offer advice regarding security.
He said: "Better still we will arrest you if you just happen to have stolen it.
"Please accept that our officers are trying to help you and keep your property safe if you are stopped, they won't keep you long."
Anyone who wishes to report anything suspicious in connection to the theft is asked to ring 101 or online at http://orlo.uk/7VwVs
