Police catch raider after daylight burglary
Police swooped after residents reported a burglary in progress this afternoon (Sunday).
Officers raced to Coal Clough Lane in Burnley just before 3pm where a break-in was taking place at a house. They chased a man who fled the scene and he was caught, arrested and taken into custody. He will be interviewed this evening.
The police helicopter was deployed to help with the incident which occurred close to the Giant Leap Nursery.
