Police appeal to find man who spat twice at Pendle shop worker

The assault took place on May 14th, just before 2pm at the Premier Convenience Store in Knotts Lane.

A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: "The suspect is described as a male in his late twenties, skinny built, clean shaven, with short dark hair and wearing all black clothing and believed to be Eastern European. This male has been seen to arrive and leave in a black Vauxhall Insignia, vehicle registration: NU11ACV.

"Having checked the Police database, there is no current keeper and we are appealing for the whereabouts and current owner of the black Vauxhaull Insignia, vehicle registration: NU11ACV as well as the male involved in this incident.
