Police appeal to find wanted sex offender who has links to Burnley and Barnoldswick

Aaron Haywood (35), went missing from an address in Blackburn on April 15th and failed to return. He is wanted by police on recall to prison and for breaching his sex offender notification requirements.

Haywood was jailed in November 2013 for offences of exposure and assault.

He is described as white, 5ft 6ins. tall, with short, dark-brown hair and blue eyes. He has tattoos including Celtic blades on his back, as well as a number of tribal symbols.

Haywood has links to the Barnoldswick and Burnley areas.

Det Insp Mark Gillibrand, of Lancashire Police, said: “Haywood is wanted by police on recall to prison after breaching his sex offender notification requirements. I would urge anyone who has seen him or knows where is to call us immediately. Please do not approach him and instead contact police.”
