Police appeal to find Burnley man wanted for serious assault

Burnley Police have put out an appeal to find a 28-year-old man who is wanted for a serious assault and other offences.

Ben Monks is described as a white male who is five feet nine inches talls and stockily built with ginger hair and a beard.

He has links to the Stoops area of Burnley and is known to have associates all over town.

Police have asked that for any immediate sightings of Monks to ring 999 and they have warned the public not to approach him as he is violent and dangerous.
