Pendle driver fined after seven-year-old schoolgirl found not wearing a seatbelt
The parent of a seven-year-old girl has been fined after police found the child not wearing a seatbelt.
The incident happened in Nelson.
A spokesman for Lancashire Road Police tweeted: "The driver of this Vectra was stopped in Nelson having collected his seven-year-old from school and thought she didn't need a seatbelt or car seat and that it was perfectly fine for her to crawl about the back seat and stand in the footwell. Ticket issued."
