New car seized in Burnley after police catch driver with no insurance
Police in Burnley took away a new car after the driver was caught with no insurance.

The incident happened over the weekend.
The car owner told police that the vehicle was new and that they had not yet had the chance to change the policy over from the old one.
A spokesman for Lancashire Road Police said: "Another seizure for no insurance, this time in Burnley. Driver had bought a new car and hadn't yet changed the policy over from the old one.
"He claimed that he would be covered by his friend's trade policy, evidence of which was not forthcoming. Traffic Offence Report issued, vehicle seized."
