. PD Harri
Harri is a black Labrador aged around 10 years old, which makes him the oldest working specialist dog in Lancashire. His specialisms are finding drugs, weapons and cash. He has been with his current handler since 2014, who says Harri has a fabulous character and adores attention from his family and police. Photo: Lancashire Constabulary
. PD Koa
PD Koa is two years old. He is a Dutch Herder and Belgian Malinois cross and has been a ‘general purpose’ dog in Lancashire since July of this year. Koa has an excellent nose and can turn his hand to most aspects of Police Dog work. He’s a playful character who has undertaken some fantastic work and is an asset to the force. 2. PD Koa

3. PD Harv
PD Harv is a five-year-old German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois cross. He was born in Hungary and lived in Eindhoven in the Netherlands, before coming to Lancashire Police in 2016. He has felt at home in South Ribble ever since being licensed with his handler. Harv recently became a specialist ‘Tactical Firearms Support Dog’, after completing a four week

4. PD Jax
PD Jax is a Malinois dog, aged around four years old. He has been with Lancashire Police as a fully-licensed police dog for around three years and has taken to his job like a duck to water. Jax’s speciality is finding people hiding in water and on two separate occasions he has sniffed out offenders who have been hiding in the canal. Photo: Lancashire Constabulary
