Man wanted for two assaults

Luke Buckley (21) is wanted in connection with a serious assault of a 43-year-old man in Nelson that happened on Sunday October 9th and a burglary where an 18-year-old woman was also assaulted at an address in Nelson last Friday (November 25th).

He is known to have connections to Nelson, Burnley, Lytham St Annes and Blackpool.

Sgt Craig Kelshaw said: “We need to trace Buckley as soon as possible and so I would urge anyone who knows where he is to get in contact.

“I would urge Buckley himself if he sees this appeal to hand himself in at his local police station before he makes matters worse for himself.

“I would advise anyone who may see him not to approach but to call the police instead.”
