Police are appealing for help to trace a man who failed to appear before magistrates.
Habib Miah (23), from Burnley, was due to appear at Burnley Magistrates’ Court on Thursday in relation to a charge of impersonating a police officer.
He failed to appear and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
He is described as Asian, 5ft. 9in. tall, with brown eyes, short black hair, clean shaven and speaks with a soft voice.
He is believed to have connections in the Duke Bar and Daneshouse areas of Burnley.
Sgt Andy Horne, of Burnley Police, said: “This man could potentially pose a risk to elderly residents and I would urge anyone who sees him or knows of his whereabouts to contact police on 101 as soon as possible.”
