Police are appealing for help to identify a man who exposed himself to two teenage girls in Burnley.

The incident happened around 8-05am on Tuesday, May 19th, in an alleyway off Brennand Street.

It is believed that the man exposed himself and shouted over to two 13 year olds to gain their attention as they walked past. The girls then ran away.

The man is described as white, around 6ft tall, of a chubby build, scruffy in appearance and thought to be 30-35 years old.

He had short dark straight hair, stubble around his chin, cheek and neck area with a pale complexion. He was wearing a black jacket.

PC Jordan Bruce of Burnley Police said: “These young girls were left extremely upset by this incident and so I urge the public to have a good look at this image and if they recognise the man to please get in touch with us as soon as possible.”
