Man arrested after victim suffers 'broken jaw' in aggravated burglary in Lancashire

A man who was wanted by police following an aggravated burglary in Lancashire has been arrested.

Joe Morris, 24, was wanted in connection with an aggravated burglary in Colne which left the victim with a broken jaw after they were attacked in their own home on August 12.

Officers have now confirmed Morris has been arrested following a public appeal launched by police yesterday (August 23).

A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: "Joe Morris, 24, was wanted following an incident in Colne on August 12 in which the occupant was allegedly assaulted suffering a broken jaw.

"Morris has today been arrested and is in custody."
