Man accused of throwing petrol bombs at home

A Burnley man has appeared at the town’s magistrates’ court accused of throwing two petrol bombs at a family home in East Lancashire.

Paul Simpson (32) of Cog Lane, is charged with affray and arson with intent to endanger life, on May 30th.

The names of the alleged victims and their address cannot be reported for legal reasons.

Simpson’s case will be heard at Burnley Crown Court and he was remanded in custody until a hearing there on July 9th.
