A fraudster has been warned she faces jail after owning up to a scam to the tune of more than £13,000.
Sarah Critchley (34) also had a stun gun, Burnley Crown Court was told.
The defendant, of Thurston Street, Burnley, admitted four counts of fraud, between last June and last July, and possessing a weapon designed for the discharge of a noxious thing in November 2013.
She was bailed until September 11th, for a pre-sentence report on condition she lives at her home address in Thurston Street.
The defendant was warned by Recorder Simon Medland, QC: “All sentencing options, including a sentence of immediate imprisonment, will be available to the court on the next occasion.”
