Police are hunting a man after a woman had an imitation handgun pointed at her.
Daniel James Shaw (34), of no fixed address, is wanted in connection with the incident, which took place Wren Street, Burnley, in September and is being recalled to prison as a result of his alleged involvement.
Shaw was originally sentenced to six months and 20 days imprisonment in June at Burnley Magistrates' Court for an assault. He was released in August.
Det. Sgt Paul Barlow from Burnley CID said: “If you have seen Shaw or know of his whereabouts, please get in touch. I would advise people not to approach him but to call us instead.
“I would also urge Shaw if he sees this appeal to hand himself in sooner rather than later because it’s only a matter of time before we find him.”
Shaw is known to have links to both Burnley and Padiham. He is described as white, 5ft. 8in. tall, proportionate build, short dark brown hair, he speaks with a North-West accent and has visible tattoos.
