Huge haul of cannabis seized

Police officers have seized a huge stash of cannabis from a farm.

This morning the Burnley, Hapton and Padiham neighbourhood teams joined with the Operations Support Unit and a dog handler to conduct a drugs warrant at a farm in the Hapton area.

Police found a box containing 74 bags of cannabis. One person has been arrested and released on bail.

A police spokesman said: "Thanks to all who made this possible. Together we can stop the supply of controlled drugs."
