POLICE in Burnley are investigating the following crimes:

• Jewellery and electrical goods including an I-Pad, two laptops, a television and two watches were stolen from a house in Coleshill Avenue.

The burglars entered the house through a bedroom window sometime between 1-45am and 10-30am on Sunday.

• Thieves stole copper earthing wire from an electricity sub station at the junction with Rushworth Street and West Street on Friday.

• A mountain bike was stolen from a garage at a house in Cunningham Grove at around 12-30am on Tuesday. Two boys in their late teens were distubed by the owners but made off with the bike.

• An X-Box worth £70 was stolen from a house in Willis Street at around 5-20pm on Saturday.

• A Vauxhall Corsa stolen from Scarlett Street on Monday was later found abandoned in Shawclough Street, Rossendale.
