Counsellor at high school affected by bomb blast horror


A number of pupils from Blessed Trinity RC College were at the Ariana Grande concert at the MEN arena when a bomb went off in the foyer at the end of the show as thousands of people were leaving the building.
Police have confirmed there are 22 fatalities, many of them children, and up to 59 injured.

Hide AdAll students returned home safely, a statement released by the school in Ormerod Road confirmed.
The spokesman said: "Our thoughts at Blessed Trinity are with everyone affected by the events in Manchester.
"A number of our pupils were at the concert and thankfully all have returned home safe.
"Our prayers are with those who lost loved ones or who suffered injuries at the concert. We have a counsellor at school who will be there to help those in need."
