CCTV image appeal after burglars attempt to break into Whalley jewellers

The incident took place at around 10-40pm in the George Street area of the Ribble Valley village and it is believed another shop was targeted.

Officers from Lancashire Constabulary have released stills of suspects they think may have been involved in the crime.

A spokesman for Ribble Valley Police said: "Last night at 10-40pm we received a call to a burglary at a shop premises in Whalley. We are asking anyone with CCTV on George Street and surrounding areas to please check their cameras for two males wearing dark clothing, one carrying a rucksack round the time given.
