Car stolen from Manchester spotted by quick-thinking policeman in Burnley

PC Dave Cottam, of Burnley and Padiham Police, was out on patrol when he spotted the blue-coloured vehicle.

He said: "Out and about early this morning and spotted this car. It got my spider senses tingling and after checks were made, it was confirmed to be a stolen car from Greater Manchester on false plates.

"I'm sure the owner will be very happy this morning when he receives the call telling him we've found his car. It goes to show looks can be deceiving!"
