Burnley thief caught stealing twice last year lands in court again

A thief, who stole cosmetics worth almost £500 from Burnley Boots, was given a 12-month community order.

Kimberley O’Horo, who was in breach of two 12-month conditional discharges imposed for theft offences committed last January 17th and June 3rd, struck on January 9th at the store in St James' Street, the town's magistrates were told.

The 47-year-old pleaded guilty to theft of goods worth £481.91, also admitted breaching the conditional discharges and was dealt with for the original offences.

The defendant received a 25-day rehabilitation activity requirement as part of the community order.

O’ Horo, of Grey Street, Burnley, was fined £25 and must pay a £90 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
