Burnley men charged with robbery
Police were called to Rockliffe Villas, Bacup, on August 7th following reports a man in his 50s had been attacked with weapons and robbed in his own home.
He suffered a puncture wound to the chest and a fractured cheek bone and was taken to hospital for treatment. He has since been discharged.

Hide AdFollowing consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, Matthew Grimshaw (37) of Fenwick Street, Burnley, and Aaron Alston, (35) of Laithe Street, Burnley, have both been charged with robbery.
Grimshaw has also been charged with breach of a non-molestation order.
They appeared before Blackburn Magistrates' Court on Tuesday and are due to appear at the Crown Court on September 18th.
