Burnley man facing trial after alleged Christmas Day assault

Michal Borowiec is alleged to have committed the offence in the town. The defendant, of St Matthews Street, denied assault by beating when he appeared before Blackburn magistrates.

He was remanded on bail until April 20th on condition he does not contact the alleged victim and does not enter the street where she lives.
