Mr Philip Turner, defending, told the hearing a small amount of cocaine was found in the passenger door of Hussain's vehicle.

The solicitor continued: "What he says is the cannabis was his, but the cocaine had, in fact, been taken into his car by somebody else who left it in the passenger door. He saw it there. He doesn't use cocaine , he wasn't sure what to do with it and he just left it there."

The defendant, of Thurston Street, Burnley, admitted possessing cocaine and cannabis. He was fined £80 and was told to pay £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
