Burnley man accused of stealing BMW at knifepoint

A 23-year-old man has appeared before Burnley magistrates accused of a £31,000 knifepoint robbery.

Lee Scott, of Constable Avenue, in the town, is accused of robbing Omar Sadique of a BMW 320 on April 17th, dangerous driving, having no licence or insurance. The alleged offences are said to have taken place in Accrington Road, Burnley.

The defendant’s case was sent to Burnley Crown Court for trial and he was bailed until a hearing there on May 26th.
