Burnley man accused of cannabis supply intent

A 24-year-old Burnley man appeared before the town's magistrates, accused of involvement in cannabis supply.

Saqib Ahmed Gazi is accused of possessing 40.34 grammes of the drug, with intent to supply, last February 15th, and being concerned in the supply of cannabis between last January 11th and February 14th.

He also faces an allegation of acquiring, using or having possession of criminal property worth £1,300 last February 17th.

The defendant, of James Street, will have his case heard at Burnley Crown Court and was unconditionally bailed until March 9th.
