Burnley man accused of attempting to pervert course of justice to have case heard at crown court

A Burnley man, alleged to have made a false statement to the police, will have his case heard at the town's crown court.

Liam Cawtherley is accused of attempting to pervert the course of justice. He also faces an allegation of failing to report an accident. The alleged offences are said to have occurred on November 3rd and 9th last year.

The 30-year-old, of Lyndhurst Road, was unconditionally bailed until a hearing on April 9th.
