Burnley cocaine dealer (20) jailed for more than two years

A 20-year-old Burnley man has been jailed for supplying cocaine in the Burnley area.

Thomas Keellings, of Mary Townley Fold, was stopped by officers driving his vehicle along Brownside Road in September.

Keellings was searched and after being found in possession of a quantity of class A drugs – found to be cocaine – and £630, he was arrested and interviewed at Burnley Police Station.

Further items that related to drug dealing were found in his home address, along with a quantity of cocaine and further cash.

The total amount seized from Keellings was £2,745.

An investigation was then carried out, and telephone evidence further identified Keellings as supplying cocaine in the Burnley area.

He was charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

Today, at Sessions House Court in Preston, Keellings pleaded guilty to supplying class A drugs and was sentenced to serve 28 months in jail.
