Burnley booze thief targeted town supermarket seven times

A booze thief struck seven times in Burnley, stealing alcohol worth more than £500, a court heard.

Adam Dean, who targeted the town’s Tesco store each time, took a total of seven bottles of whisky, six bottles of gin and three bottles of vodka.

The 48-year-old, of Albert Street, Burnley, admitted seven counts of theft, which he committed last November 5th, between 19th and 20th, 22nd, 24th and last December 5th and 6th, when he appeared before the town’s magistrates.

He was ordered to pay £280 compensation.
