Appeal for missing man

Police are trying to trace a man missing since Christmas Day.

Jason Christopher Haworth (30) has not been seen after attending a relative’s address in Barden Lane.

Police are getting concerned for Mr Haworth’s welfare and are asking anyone who has seen him to call.

PC Oliver Tattersley, from Burnley Police, said: “Jason was due to meet up with relatives on Boxing Day but never turned up so his family are understandably worried about him.

“If you know of whereabouts or you have seen him, please contact us.”

Mr Haworth is known to sleep rough and has links to the Burnley, Padiham and Rossendale areas. He is described as white, slim, with collar length dark brown hair with tribal tattoos on the tops of his arms and another small tribal tattoo across the top of his back. He also has a scar on the right side of his lip and was last seen wearing dark blue jeans, a navy or black leather jacket and a black hat.
