Rimington FC, who play their games in Back Lane, close to Clitheroe, had a chainsaw and football bibs stolen during the break-in, which club officials say took the offenders three minutes to execute.

A spokesman for the club appealed for witnesses on social media. In a post on twitter, Rimington Football Club said: "Sadly, the club store was broken into on Tuesday, October 6th, at 9-30pm and items were stolen.
