All sentencing options open Burnley theft man warned

A Burnley man has admitted a theft charge involving the sum of £3,280.

Stephen Morgan (60) of Yorkshire Street, pleaded guilty at a Preston Crown Court hearing to the theft of £3,280 between February 21st 2011 and May 10th last year.

His case was adjourned for a pre sentence report to be compiled on him by the probation service.

Morgan was remanded on bail to August 6th.

Judge Pamela Badley told him: “All sentencing options, including custody, are open to the court.”
