Firefighters were called out to a chimney fire at a house in Burnley yesterday.

Crews from Burnley used a triple extension ladder and a thermal imaging camera to assess the house in Garswood Close, Burnley, yesterday at 9-30pm.

Firefighters applied water to the fire at ground floor level in order to reduce the temperature of the chimney and make the scene safe.

There were no casualties.
