Countdown to International Beer Festival in Colne
A Colne pub will be serving up 10 international treats starting on Friday as beers from around the world will be alongside British brews for a special festival.
The 17-day International Beer Festival at The Wallace Hartley in Church Street will feature ales from across the globe including South Africa, New Zealand, Sweden, Canada, USA, Belgium, Australia, Germany, Spain and Norway.
They will complement the 40 beers from across the UK being served in the pub during the festival which will run until Sunday, April 13th, with all beers priced £1.79 a pint.
Pub manager Katie Green said: “We are thrilled to be serving such a fantastic selection of beers from across the world as well as those brewed in the UK.
“The overseas beers have never previously been available as cask ales in the UK, which makes them even more special.
