FASHION shows, family fun, stylish Lancastrians, free gifts and a very special celebrity appearance are all in store at The Mall Blackburn this Saturday (29th September).

The fashion extravaganza will take place in Victoria Court from 11.00am until 3.30pm and will feature Danielle Hunter from Accrington, Chris Ham from Darwen and Christopher Hodgson and Nafisa Karbhari from Blackburn, who were the winners of The Mall’s Lancashire’s Got Style model search.

Coronation Street sweetheart Michelle Keegan will also be signing autographs and posing for pictures with the public from 1.00pm until 4.00pm.

The latest Autumn /Winter fashion ranges from top retailers including Primark, Debenhams, Blue Inc, Select, Infinities, Republic, Bank, New Look, BHS, Topman, Topshop, Instinct, USC, JD Sports, Next and River Island will hit the catwalk throughout the day so fashionistas can get ready for the season ahead!

Loraine Jones, General Manager at The Mall Blackburn, said: “The final preparations for a fantastic day are in full swing now and everyone is looking forward to Saturday.

“It was very important for us to get the whole community involved with this event and that is why we have chosen real Lancashire people to star in our fashion shows.

“We also wanted a celebrity to reflect the stylish vibe of the day and Michelle Keegan from Coronation Street was the perfect choice!

“We were absolutely delighted when she agreed to come and I know that she will get a very warm Lancashire welcome from our shoppers.”

Last year, Lancashire shoppers took part in a fashion show to officially launch the completion of The Mall’s £66m redevelopment and the opening of Blackburn Market in the lower Mall.

The event, which also included celebrity autograph signing sessions with Coronation Street’s Katherine Kelly and Chris Fountain, was hailed a huge success.
