Comedian Bobby Ball’s Gospel show comes to Burnley

One half of 80s TV comedy act Cannon and Ball is performing at a Burnley church’s community hall next Sunday.

Bobby Ball tours with a gospel show in celebration of his life as a born-again Christian.

Charity donations will be collected on the door and the event is open to Christians and non-Christians alike.

Marina Hartley, Church warden at St Cuthbert’s is looking forward to the event and hopes it will bring in non-churchgoers as well as members from their usual congregation.

“I think it is really important that we reach out to other people,” she said.

“The church is not there for ourselves. We are there for everyone.”

Bobby Ball performs at St Cuthbert’s Church Hall in Sharp Street on Sunday September 20th at 7pm. Admission is free but charitable donations are welcome.
