Clitheroe Royal Grammar School students head for Oxford and Cambridge: photos
It was all smiles at Clitheroe Royal Grammar School’s sixth form centre where students from all over East Lancashire were celebrating some great results that earned the university places they were hoping for.
One of the CRGS students who gained Oxbridge places was Robert Wright from Mellor Brook, who gained three A*, one A and a 1/1 in STEP 2 and 3. He will study maths at Cambridge.
Philip Sellars (left) of Hurst Green, gained three A* and one A and is off to Manchester to study maths and physics. Arsalaan Ali, from Nelson, gained two A* and two As to study medicine at York and Faisal Nawaz, from Brierfield, got three A* to study medicine at Manchester.
