Clarets fans make game despite bus blaze

Not even a burning bus could stop a group of Burnley fans from making Friday night’s game against Rotherham.

Around 70 supporters were travelling to the game when their coach caught fire at 6pm near to Chapeltown, around seven miles from the New York Stadium.

Some of the group managed to flag down another coach while the rest of the party went to a nearby pub, grabbed a pint, and ordered a fleet of taxis.

Nobody was injured and everybody managed to make it to the game on time, the Clarets going on to win 2-1.

The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
