Child airlifted to hospital after collision

A four-year-old girl was rushed to the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital on Friday afternoon by air ambulance after she was in collision with a car.

The accident happened in Briercliiffe Road at the junction with Rylands Steet.

The child suffered a fractured leg and suspected hip injury
