Paradise Working Men’s Club in Martin Street will host the concert, organised by the family of a young Burnley woman who has suffered from kidney disease since she was a baby.

Keeley Fenn (25) underwent an operation at the Royal Blackburn Hospital just before Christmas and says it has transformed her life. Now she and her family want to raise £1,000 to help other patients on Ward C22 at the hospital while making people aware that a lot of young people suffer from kidney disease.

The family have four top North-West club acts donating their services free at tomorrow’s concert – mother and daughter duo La Belle Duo, comedy vocalist Martin Gregor, singer Joe Wall with his songs from the 60s upwards and “Rat Pack” vocalist Chris Ritchie.

The Bombay Lounge in Barrowford is donating the food and 2BR DJs Tim Littlechild and Helen Wakefield will be MCs.

Tickets are £2 and the doors open at 7pm for an 8pm start. There will also be an auction and raffle with prizes donated by local companies.

Admission is by ticket only by calling Keeley’s mum Ann Metcalfe on 07850 178750.
