Channel 4 put Nelson in immigration spotlight
Nelson featured in the television spotlight last night as Channel 4 News broadcast an item live from the town’s cricket club.
Locally-born reporter Krishnan Guru Murthy returned to Pendle to discuss an item about whether immigration had brought prosperity to Lancashire.
It featured members of the indigenous, Asian heritage and Polish communities – and sparked much comment on social media afterwards.
