Car thief totals lamp post in Burnley town centre
A stolen vehicle was crashed into a lamp post near Burnley town centre overnight, with authorities called out to arrest the driver.
Taking place on what appears to be Ashfield Road off Westgate in Burnley, the stolen BMW sustained significant damage in the event, which resulted in a lamp post being uprooted.
"A stolen vehicle [crashed] near Burnley Town Centre," a police statement confirmed. "[The driver was] arrested nearby."
